I decided to go back to the old field once more. I said that my last post was gonna be my last until next year.. that never works. I read that in colder days when the ground gets harder, your detector will pick up better. I dunno... It was about 17 degrees when I got there. I have been pulling atleast a few goodcoins out with each visit. this time i wasnt so fortunate. oh well.

hang in there :icon_thumleft: you know how detecting is.. just when u feel like nothings working out and ur finding a bunch of junk, BAM! theres that silver signal... or the other way around you get that garbage signal and dig it up and get the gold screamer 8) ... keep truckin Jeff

Not every hunt ends in success, part of the enjoyment is in trying to succeed... As the other guy said "keep on trucking".

I hunt the woods during cold weather, the fallen leaves act as an insulator making the ground diggable. Unlike other tnetters I stop when the ground freezes and the snow falls.

That is an interesting horseshoe. I guess it's just bent a little?

Hey, if the ground isn't hard as concrete, why not detect? ;D

Stay with it ... you never know what the next plug will hold (maybe your gold coin) :icon_thumright:
