Heres another pic. The round thingvis mystery metal i found. Also kinda looks like gold

Saaaweeeet!!
The gold ring looks art deco to me. Score.

In your later pic , the ring looks to be gold - Am i seeing traces of enamel there ? If it were copper you would likely have
a corroded oxidized mess , looks too clean for that -I'd have it tested .

Wow. I'm thinking that ring is good too. What does it register as on the detector?

Cool ring.congrats on the shield nickel.

If thats the case it would be my first gold ever and my oldest coin to date. I might have to go by a jewelers or something lol

The ring is 14k gold!! Unfortunately had to sell it. Going on vacation in May!!

I'm sorry, but that's a gold ring, markings or not.

BuckleBoy is right on as usual! That's a custom made gold initial ring! It's a great find for sure!

Now, if BuckleBoy could only give me some more information on my latest buckle :laughing7:

Shame to sell a find like that....what did the jeweler give you for it? Probably less than half of what it was worth.

Nice digs ... definately go back !!

yeah, curious if you got fair value for it. Someone would have paid at least gold value for it if you checked around.

Awesome day for ya there ! I'm with some of the other guys here. That ring screams gold to me. It seems to lack any real corrosion or oxidation that one would expect from copper, brass or other base metals. I don't know how much cleaning you did to it , but it looks suspiciously "golden"! Great job.
