Hunt yields coins from 3 different centuries - Big Silver & Gorgeous KGIII!
Hit up a new spot today, with my friend Ben. 8)
Arriving at the spot, we exited our vehicles and faced the blistering breeze. We questioned eachothers sanity to hunt in these conditions, but because of our determination and the willpower to succeed, we decided to push on through the wind. We explored the open space and began detecting, digging random junk. Scattered around some areas, we saw pieces of ceramic, colored glass, pieces of brick, and lots of clam shells. These good indicators pushed us forward even more. We eventually came across a low spot. It was littered with a high concentration of shells, brick, and glass, so we decided to concentrate there. We hit this spot up for about 3 hours, and at one point it was snowing, and with the winds it felt like we were in the arctic.
That's Ben, in the distance. Today was my first day using my new Raven shovel, by Predator Tools. What a shovel!!! I love it.
My finds are pictured below. Ben found 5 buttons, several which resemble nipples, and were all in awesome shape, thanks to the fine sand that's in the field. Notice the blowhole button. My 4th one found to date. I am not sure what the buckle is to. The oval thing looks like it may have been part of some jewelry.
