Hadensville, VA. What should have been an excellent morning hunt on a property my hunting partner got permission for us on, was spoiled by one or two careless and thoughtless detectorists who got in there before us (by the looks of how they left the place) probably without permission. Left craters everywhere, trash scattered throughout, and tons of half dug deep holes with cans and targets still in them. I kid you not when I say within 2 acres there were over 150 holes with dug trash strewn all over.
What a shame and disgrace to this hobby.
The upside is they don't seem to be able to discern ferrous from non-ferrous, and they left a few goodies for us. The downside is they got first shot at some good targets too.
