Hunted a Home that had a sign for 1896 that had been hunted by a club a lot.

Took off to a town 45 minutes away. Got permits at a 2+ story home that was built in 1896, with a Historical sign in the front yard. The lady said that people have been hunting there every year for quite awhile. Some from a local club.
With this I knew I had to dig anything solid, so that’s what I did. I was using the Deus2. Both buttons and the brass tax token hit at a solid 75. Really happy to find that POD button. (Post Office Department-Made from 1876 to 1911) brass plated and fairly old like the home. Any info on the button with a crown on it would be much appreciated too. It had guilt on it at one time also.
At least I didn’t get skunked. You can definitely tell it’s been hammered 😳
Maybe We’ll get lucky and pull a Trime when We go back! I know, wishful

Me too, but not complaining. The buttons and token all hit lower than a pull tab.

I was just at a similar spot. I could tell it had been hunted, but I think these new detectors can pull out a little more.

That POD button is wickedly cool. Though, I also like the other button and token. All in all, I think you did quite well considering the site had been detected so much. It never ceases to amaze me how much people can miss. Thanks for sharing!
