about 2.000 sq ft of lawn but it sits tight in the middle of the Battle of Peachtree Creek. I haven't been out in a while but have hunted a little and found a little, but I thought this to be worth posting. I didn't dig everything because I didn't want to leave a mess. The E-TRAC gives me a good idea of what I am digging and I pretty much knew all the bullets were bullets but the bracelet... I almost didn't dig it because it read and sounded exactly like a shallow quarter... I'm glad I dug it, it speaks for itself. I'm sure it is period maybe earlier. Could be Cherokee, I don't know but I am going to find out. I haven't cleaned it much, just a little. I am keeping it wrapped in moist paper towels in a zip lock bag until I am sure how to clean it. I may find a professional to clean it up.

please keep us up to date on bracelet. anxious to know the age. really nice finds

want do you mean you did not dig anything because you did not want to leave a mess? If you dig properly no one should even see your plugs you cut.

Good finds!

If that is an American Indian bracelet, then what a BANNER find!!! That is amazing.

I know, i'm careful and try to cut slits or at the most two sided cuts in nice yards. Still, you can't be too careful. I have sod in my yard and it has been raining for two weeks. I went out and dug a few pieces of junk in my yard using the three sided hole and it still left a spot. Even cutting a slit and pulling the sides apart and using a popper messes up sod. It just wont go back ringht most of the time. I guess because it is so short. I can cut a three sided plug and you cannot see it when I am through, I am just converned that it will yellow later.. then again, this yard iwas hunting was mnot in very good shape to beginn with, but that is no excuse to be sloppy. I am with you...

I may hit it again after the next rain.
