I decided to hit the same clustered group of cellar holes that I’ve hunted off and on for the last 5 years. Every time I go I tell myself, “This is the last time if I don’t find anything.” And every time I manage to pull something out. I changed my approach and tried to see how many non-ferrous targets I could recover that I’d previously missed. Keep in mind, this site is loaded with iron targets with numerous tones on every swing. Really have to slow it down with a small coil and it paid off. Picked out my 2nd Chinese coin (1820-1850) up against a small tree. I love the small hole punched in it. Dug some other typical cellar hole targets like the buckles and pocket watch part managed to picka nice thimble. The “E.B. LONDON” shot shell was a first for me with that head stamp (1860’s). Thanks for looking.
