Way to go!! Were they by trash? What machine and coil are you using? How deep were they? Sorry about all the questions, but I am always excited to learn more about digging in supposedly hunted out sites, and working against adjacent trash. Cheers!!

Every coin was in the same hole as some kind of trash. The buffalo had a beaver tail pop tab in the same hole with it. The "v" nickel and the wheat cent both had nails in the holes with them. I am using a garrett AT Pro with the smaller 5"×8" DD coil. It is great in trashy areas. You can really hear the trash next to, under, or partially on top of the good targets. That being said, I still dig trash. Haha. It's inevitable. This particular hunt, I dug all bouncy signals and deep mid tones.
