First of all let me say Merry Christmas to all fellow Tnetters.
Today I went to a union camp that has been hunted hard since the 70s. People had told me there was nothing really left there. I had found three bullets there in the past but it took me about 20 hours to find em.
Today I went there and using TTF mode on my etrac I found 12 or so minnies and other relics including a percussion cap, a smashed brass wedding band,part of a nap sack hook and other bits in three hours. I was in shock being I had hunted the area before with poor results. This was my best CW hunt as far as time and numbers go,I had a blast.

It's never truly hunted out. After 35 years of doing this, trust me. I go to some of my old hunted sites and amaze myself with what I find. I often wonder, "How did I miss that one?"

Cool finds there! Nothing is hunted out. Just let a few years go and some more finds will turn up. It takes a long time to pull all metal out of a field! Merry Christmas!
