Hunting connecticut

Anybody here hunt Portland, ct area I have a few spots in mind, I was at a section in gilder sleeve and it seemed like there were zinc pennies spread everywhere, but anyway the area is huge you could hunt it for years and never finish it, anyone on here have luck in this town before??
