Hunting for beercans with my metal detector!

I really get into this treasure hunting hobby!

When we find old beercans (1935-1949) up at high altitudes there is hardly any rust even after 60 plus years burried. A little oxalic acid and they clean up quite nicely!

those cans look great! around here cans like that are only a rust halo in the soil. our dirt is real hard on buried objects. if i were you i would keep them too. very cool!

I do the same thing as you guys, only in revearse sorta. I empty the beer cans and then search for my house keys.
