Hunting homesites Saturday with my Son and Daughter

Hello Everyone,
Me, my Son and my Daughter went to some homesites yesterday that once sat along an old road that has been gone for many years and now just a field.
Me and my son done some Metal detecting, while my Daughter walked looking for Indian Artifacts. It was a Great day getting out and some pretty cool finds to bring home.

My daughter had the best finds with her two artifacts, one being the base of a drill which would have been an excellent find if complete and than the other artifact looks like a Hatchet head? any help on it's id would be Great.

me and my son came out with 3 flat buttons, 2 buffalo nickles, 2 buckles, a knife, a gun, a 1926 Dog license, some sort of copper seal with shell designs in the center and around the edge and a round piece with three holes, it looks like part of a key?

Good to see you and the kids getting out with one another. that piece with the three holes is a strap end for a CW-era leather valise. The pointed end of it is broken off. Great day for you.

Thanks everyone,
it was alot of fun and they always enjoy it. My daughter had her weekend planned out. Native American artifacts on Saturday and Fishing on Sunday, she made me go out in the yard last night with her at a 12:00am, so she could catch some night crawlers for her todays fishing trip, while i was Detecting.

I couldn't be any more proud of them .
