The under ground sprinkler system that we thought was there but didn't really know for sure.
Seriously.. every few feet and not too deep I might add.
It came up as a solid nickel hit for the "spouts" and Quarter hit for the actual pipes.

Good news is that I practiced my swing and listened for tones and realized I need a better digging tool.

Hope your not using a pick-ax ha-ha j/k if your going to stay with it I would recommend a Lesche digger, can't be beat really!

Too cool! I found the same thing in my mini yard last year. Still haven't figured out why anyone installed one. The yard is only 3ft. by 20ft. Glad you enjoyed the hunt, HH. Mike
