Hunting in the woods

See sometimes it pays to go off the beating path and just walk around in the woods. All found just north of our local cemetery in the woods right next to it. The 1902 half and 1903 IH penny was three ft from each other on a old trail. The three Mercury dimes all 1940 P,D,S along with the 26 wheat penny was found along side a tree. Also lots of shot gun shell and spent round scaddered all around the area. Great if your collect brass which I should start doing. Over all a great hunt and lots of sweat. HH all

Nice digs! What was in the area way back in the day? Hopefully the cemetery didn't go off into the woods and is not posted. Don't want to dig up a ring with a bony finger attached
