Ive been finding alot of animal Skulls lately when Ive been out swinging... Mostly rats, some owl pellets and today's highlight was part of a Sunfish skeleton that was freshly picked at from a bird... My first spot today was along the schuylkyll River... Nice Finds, Especially the Merc.. Got one today myself..

Briz, I Like finding skulls, I Find it odd
I Don't find the rest of the bones with them.

Silver is always a result :icon_thumright:

Do you ever hunt ploughed land/ farm fields?

Doesn't the Pa game law state that is illegal to possess any part of a found animal other then antlers. Then you are guilty, I'm guilty and everyone else is guilty. I won't tell you how many guilty deer antlers I found before it was legal to keep found ones.

nice pics and finds...congrats !

correct, PA game law says that only found antlers containing the pedical that have been naturally shed can be possessed. All other carcass items are property of the PGC. Another antiquated and joke of a law in PA!

One for Yas :D

Corn stalks & oil seed rape are not searchable after harvest, but what about just before or just after drilling? Its all about the timing. I'm sure, with your usual time spent & dedication you could hit a few older items from the ploughed land 8) (Although I have no idea on the history of your area) :-\
