Thanks to Hurricane Florence, my morning North Topsail Beach metal detecting hunt yields gold, diamonds, silver, coins, and WWII shell fragments! I even found a fired WWII 50 caliber machine gun bullet and a 5.56 casing lodged in a tree root! I picked up a few pieces of Caribbean trash, too, that washed in during the storm!
⭐️I would like to return the ring if possible. It was in hard, compacted sand where a dune had covered it with twelve feet of sand just two weeks ago! The inscription reads "GRACIELA.". The true owner will need to be able to tell me the other inscription.⭐️

The ring is CHUNKY and solid 14k gold! The silver bracelet is also heavy and marked "sterling." The bracelet is likely from the 1950s!

I'm just waiting to see some more great finds after all that soil movement!! Good luck and great score on the GOLD and Silver!!!!

Your chances to find the owner of the ring may be better if you disclosed the full inscription then require the purchase receipt from the person who claims the ring. Disclosing the full inscription may also help others in ID-ing the person who lost it.
Don.......
PS: Great find !

Awesome finds. Hope to see more.Congrats :icon_thumright:

Great job. The ring is great and the WW2 finds are nice. I find a lot of brass shell fragments from ww2 when they do beach restoration in Delaware. It looks like you have several pieces of 20mm and 40mm shell traveling band also known as obterator (spelling?).

Keep swingin.

Congrats, great finds! I would think the name Graciela would be exclusive enough. I've found a lot of .50 cal at myrtle beach. I'm pretty sure what you have there is a tracer bullet. The nose was hollow and that's how it twisted up on impact. I think they're a bit rare because of the ratio of tracers to AP.

Good luck on the ring, and best wishes!

Very nice finds, that is an awesome bling ring, good luck on a return:icon_thumleft:

You got the old and you got the gold! Congratulations!
