Actually could possibly be real? looks like a good spot to set anchor, Freshwater stream, potable water, probably alot of games, looks like a Driftwwod catchall area. So no labor intensive fire management. If I was looking for a spot to drop anchor, I don't think I would find a much better spot.

Apparently Portolla lost more than a few men on the expedition. Possible out of the pocket of some nearby burried Portola crew?
