I am going metal detecting tomorrow. There may be an inch of snow left on the ground but I can't take it anymore. It will be reasonably nice and I will make due. I only have 5 days left to find a silver coin for February. It is supposed to snow again Thursday so I had better give it all I've got tomorrow. I'm going to the oldest park in town and it still has plenty of good stuff if you can weed it out from the trash. So wish me luck!

Well guys...I tried! I really did. I got a 1956 and a 1941 wheat but nothing else. BUT your good thoughts still might have worked. The snow they were predicting for tomorrow is no more!!!!!
So I might get to get in a short hunt tomorrow and maybe Saturday as well. So there is still time for a silver before March!! I'll let y'all know.

Looks like the thread was abandoned for a while and Tina hijacked it......

There are tons of folks on this forum with lots of experience using all different makes and models of detectors Tina. My advice would be start your own thread in the proper forum listing the detector you have (Garrett GTA 400 ?!) and asking for advice on how to use it effectively. I imagine you'll get more help than you even want! -Jim
