I am looking to find or buy some quarts crystals little larger than a pencil width

I need some quartz or amethyst crystals would love to find them in wild but I will buy them too. I am in EL Dorado County California and would like to buy or find about 40 such crystals. Thanks in advance for your input.

So they all are intended to be "matched"? - like on a necklace? What about quality, want them all water-clear? I have a bunch of unsorted small crystals
laying around in buckets and jars. Planning a trip to Reno/Sparks soon?
