I Can’t Help It

I used to work 90 to 100 hours a week for 29 years to raise my family. I missed out on a lot. But my kids are grown and I only work a part time job so I’m trying to make up for lost time. I can’t help it and I love it.
So I got out to my spot again this afternoon for about an hour. I was fortunate to pull out 4 buttons, 6 balls, a buckle, shoulder scale and a bead.
As usual most of the buttons are toasted with the exception of the flat button and the Navy cuff button. That’s a first for me!

Well done on the buttons, the site treats you well.
I did 13yrs of 85-100hr weeks.
My body broke.
I tip my hat to you sir, not many can keep that pace.
I must agree with you, one does miss a lot.

Every time I see one of those glass underwear buttons in a post it makes me grin.

I do a Civil War presentation at the local elementary school and always take a display of relics so the kids can get their hands on history. Without fail a kid will pick up one of those buttons and ask about it. When I reply "underwear button" they quickly put it back in the box.
