My neighbor owns a golf course (best kind of neighbor to have) he acquired/ purchased the farm next to his course to make a driving range. on the farm was derelict farm house in really bad shape.
He got some of his employees to start demolition of the building and was salvaging the really good lumber from it "built in the mid 1800s" one of his guys (a very honest guy) on taking up the floor boards found the US gold coin I posted here.I was going away on vacation and asked if I could get into the cellar hole on my return. when I got back he told me the clear up had gone better than he thought and he had to fill it in :BangHead: I can only wonder what goodies were down there.......HH....Bonz 10 dollar gold coin.webpanother veiw..webp

Heres a pic of those silver coins from the old farm all 1930/40s amazing what people leave behind when they move out......HH....Bonzquarters from old farm..webp

I would turn that place into a golf course again with so many holes it would be easy to get a hole in one LOL

Hes areal nice guy and wouldn't mind me going there anytime, another story he tells me about is almost every year someone reports lost jewelry out on the course and he invited me to go look for them, it would have to be very early or late to beat the golfers after all they are as fanatical as we are....HH....Bonz

Plus with head phones on you wouldn't hear someone yelling four when that white bullet comes at ya I'm shocked more people don't get injured or killed on that madhouse lol

Jewelry, coins....and booze. What a winning combination for us!

I'm just gonna throw my detectors away and start pulling up floor boards !
