I don't know what is is ... Also , how can I get the rust off?


It looks like it has some kind of design on it. I'm not sure that it's made of. It almost looks lead or something but I don't know that. Any ideas on how to get that rust off? I don't have electorosis available ... Any other ways other than that? Thanks for looking ..

Lead doesn't rust.

Apple cider Vinegar. Lead would make it very heavy and have a dull thunk when tapped.

An electrolysis tank works very well and is easy to make.

You can do the search for instructions, which are easy, and probably already have everything needed to make it.

It looks small enough to fit in a rock tumbler, if you have one of those.

Put a magnet on it to see if it's iron/steel. As mentioned, the cheap way is to soak it in vinegar for a day or two. Evaporust works great too but at a higher cost.
