I got to the meadows at 5:30 this morning to finish where I left off yesterday..nope..

so I wandered over toward where the eagle nest is,yesterday mowing I see the young ones circling a draft ever higher practicing attack skills one would try a talon grab and the other would fold it's wings and drop like a stone.

I believe one of them caught this large mouth and the other tried to steal it,looks pretty fresh with a talon puncture and this guy was setting not to far away.

Looks like Egretville

Ah, great post Chris!! Was laughing so hard that I had to call the wife in....and she hadn't yet set the timer after putting a loaf of bread in the oven! :laughing7:

PHENOMENAL!! :notworthy:

Looks like your neck of the woods has made it on the Egret Division of Tourism as a " must see spot of wonder and amazement"

They are all nice pics but I really like the reflection in the 5th one down. I may use it as subject matter for an ink drawing or, maybe, pencil.
