NEILSVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- The call came into the 911 dispatcher: "I don't want to hurt anybody. I'm drunk." And with that, Mary Strey, 49, of Granton, reported herself as a drunken driver about three miles northeast of Neilsville in central Wisconsin.

uh pull over --park --go to sleep--sleep it off wake up sober --drive home then , -- yep alcohol does make folks do dumb stuff.

Not too bright for drinking all night when she had her car with her, but I think she deserves some credit for turning herself in.

Not sure what the Charge Normally is there

but she was charged with
misdemeanor drunken driving.

Here she could have been charged with a Felony

uh hows about taking a cab home , calling a "good freind" or just not driving until sober instead? --calling ones self in dead drunk to ther police --is just proof of how stupidly drunk she was while driving and that she knew it was dangerous to her and others to do so.
