Oh what!? Tell me you could have passed on posting that:laughing7:
Took the gf to work today since her car was in the garage and just happened to pass one of only 2 parks in Wilkes-Barre that I HADN'T detected yet, so after dropping her off, I stopped in. Found $2.09 in clad, another paper dollar ( total of 21 for the year so far ), the 56 Wheat, another AWESOME Chuck E.Cheese token:laughing7: and the little Fokker plane. Too bad it wasn't a Tootsey. Thanks for looking.

Sweet! That E-III was one of the only effective monoplane fighters in WW1. It had a large pole sticking straight up near the cockpit with many wires strung out to the wings for support! The little man in a hat hallmark is Japanese, I think,...Tomy or some other die cast maker. Congrats! Sub 8-)

Really nice find! I saw some Fokkers when i was in the Air Force, but they were flying Messerschmitts.

Good find! Surprised the landing gear is still intact. Too bad the propeller is gone.

Thanks. The underside of the other wing says " Made In Hong Kong " and nothing else. How long has it been since we saw that and not " Made In China "? Thanks all for the comments. My buddy's daughter collects Tootsie toys, so my first thought was to give it to her, but as suggested, I may just save this for a display.
