Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks! I was told by some “internet expert” that it’s just a pointy rock... I guess technically he was right lol

It looks crudely made, but I think I see signs it was worked and the shape is right. To me it looks like the real deal. As a kid in central Maryland I found some points made of poor quality stone that had definitely been worked, but were very crudely done.

Congratulations on a nice foot find (not an eyeball find???). Stay safe and keep lookin.

Thank you!!! I think that people do not take into consideration that what I find in Maryland, is not going to look like what you find in your state. I’ve been looking for arrowheads for a long time. My brother has an amazing collection and knowledge of them. So I’ll trust what he says over some jerk (the guy I was talking about) on the internet.

Your "expert" needs better glasses. It is a common material we Marylanders find in the Susquehanna basin. I have a small collection of local stuff, some of which I got back in the 70's. Not much, but I found it myself. The last point I found at Conowingo on a foot path last fall. Haven't been this year. I've been going north where the finds are more frequent.

That's a no-brainer. Nice toe work!

They say if you don't have anything good to add......

Good luck to you next time out!

nice, congrats...

I'd keep it and add it to your collection. many years ago I was walking down in Cibolo Creek(at that time it was dry,) and near where they call White Top an are in the creek bed, found an arrowhead. Kept it for a long time, but don't know now where it could be.

I bet it is probably a "toe point!" :laughing7:

Very nice find, congrats! :occasion14:

That's a slam dunk ! Looks like a nice point to me.

Thank you all for your kind words! It is in my collection and I’ll show it off proudly!
