I finally did it....I took the law into my own hands :>)

It was sooooooooooo hot at the beach by 9AM this morning; only hunted for 2 1/2 hrs. Hank was golfing in his league...must've been hot on that golf course, too.

High tide was approaching so I had to hunt in wet and dry sand.

Found the "Police Sergeant" down about 6" in wet sand. Mid-high "crackling" tone.

It's gold -plated , I'm quite sure.....and is either a pin or badge .

Also found clads, another bullet, a "wheatie", and an old metal button.
