I haven't been detecting in a long while because of the hot weather and hard ground due to the drought. It was like I was learning all over again, but it didn't take me long to get back in stride. I was really impressed with my MXT Pro with the SEL 6 x 8 search coil attached. That sucker was finding coins at sites that I've detected before. My Minelabs did a good job as well.

nice batch of silvers, and looks like about 5 bucks worth of clad. great job!

That's what im talking about. Congratulations :icon_thumright:

Glad to see your weather cooperating and you definitely took advantage of it to get out and dig some nice keepers. Congrats on the 5 Silvers, two of which were quarters. Nice!!

Nice job Tabman. Good to hear from you and glad your back out.

Thanks, everyone! I may give it a go tomorrow, and see if I can pop some more silver coins. I need to get back in shape so I can do some serious detecting. I have a detecting buddy coming in from Colorado for a four-day hunt in a few weeks. This will be our 4th time getting together. He's 20 years younger than me with way more detecting experience which makes it a little hard for me to keep up with him if I don't bring my A-game, just ask Monte about Lance.

A great hunt indeed! Congrats.

Very nice. Hey I'm from Colo and could sure use a spot like that! Grats!

Nice job! That's a high silver to clad ratio for my area. Good digging! Thanks for sharing.

Nice lode of silver there Tab! Yards (guessing this based on previous posts) or parks? Can’t tell from the pics.

Previously detected yards. I didn't do so good today. I only found 2 silver coins and one silver ring, but I had a good time.

Gotta love (hate) the copper nickel half!

That certainly was worth waiting for! :icon_thumleft:

I sure thought had a silver half under the search coil before I dug. I'm due some BIG silver.
