Big deal you say. I thought it was great finding an American 1c piece in a Yeppoon park. Went down to the beach for the day and couldn't resist the urge to detect. Yeppoon is in Queensland Australia by the way. Also found an Aussie 20c and $2 coin.
The 1c really made my day, I've already got some in my collection but finding something so far from home was a thrill.
Must say it was really easy to clean and came up really well, guess it coulda been the dry sandy soil compared to the thicker more clay stuff we get in Rockhampton.

LOL. We have stopped using 1 and 2 cent pieces over here so they're not a huge thing on my find list (backyard excepted) 2 Dollar is the highest value coin in circulation, love finding them, they add up really quick.
