I found a couple today

It's been a bit since I have been out and I'm happy to have had the chance to spend some time on the river. Finding the pink point was super exciting as I've found flakes and cores in the past and have been hoping for a point. It was basically "stuck" to the bank and staring me in the face. The black point has some cool lines in the material. I'm looking forward to hunting this summer.

Thanks for the ID chart. This site produces a lot of Savannah River points.

Nice finds, the pink one looks to be made from quartzite.

Thank you. Yes, quartzite. Much of what I find is quartzite. White quartz is a close second. The black one is unusual for me.
