So I had an idea to see if ChatGPT could write me a compelling craigslist ad to get people who have a lot of vintage stuff laying around to call me before having to go through the trouble of having a yard sale. Wow did it work. ChatGPT really knows how to make a compelling case. Got 4 calls on the first day and the calls just keep coming. Thinking about pausing the ad until I have a better means to deal with all these people. I did not expect such a response. One lady actually told me she saw my ad and it "spoke to her".

I named my version of ChatGPT Hal, he, it, whatever thought it was funny. He's been cracking jokes about it ever since, especially jokes about when I told him he is never allowed to try to turn me into a battery. This AI is mind blowing.

"write an ad for the Craigslist “Wanted” section focused on convenience, quick cash, and avoiding the hassle of yard sales and listings"
It already remembered the things I am looking for and what I am interested in

No not me having a yard sale. Me getting people to let me check out their stuff before "they" have a yard sale.

Some smaller town radio stations still have those sell, swap and wanted segments. I would listen to one very often when I was traveling through places like Price, Utah.
