Back to the old part of town/forest where I found 2 seated coins last year. A stream near the old home site seems to have eroded into a old trash pit. Lots of old pottery and glass popping out of the stream bed. The above pics were some of the items, then I thought there was another piece of maybe a piece of chinaware, but when I picked it up i realized it is a porcelain doll ear. (Sort of a David Lynch moment.)

Down the stream there is another old homesite, but this one is newer as it shows up on the 1930 aerial photo. Found my oldest wheat, toasted 1915, but still cool since this only the 3rd coin I've found over 100 yrs old.

Also dug up some other relics. I think the tubes are lipstick tubesImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1483508103.825407.webp
Are these musket or black powder balls?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1483508152.100111.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1483508165.246939.webp

Now that's a catchy thread title!!

Congrats on a good hunt.
I think the item on the right in the last picture is part of a suspender.

the right item is part of a suspender for sure..

That's an ear-y find you dug. :tongue3: I concur with the lipstick tube ID. Congrats on having a good hunt and post. :occasion14:

Absolutely positive on the lipstick tube identification. The small round lead actually looks like buckshot. Suspender clip for sure and the other unknown. Never seen one before

The turtle looking thing looks kind of like a chimney flue(sp?). Or vent for a stove. I can't find a photo but it's when they have another matching set of holes and as you rotate one piece, the holes open more or less.

Little dissapointed...lol! I just imagined like a real ear maybe it had a earring to make the detector go off. Either way I had to see it...lol! Nice finds.
