I found this in an old rusted metal tin and I have no idea what it is but I think it’s important. Can anyone help identify what it is 249F6CD9-A620-42DF-A875-682AFB17007B.webp

It is Masonic in nature. It is called a sash or collar. Oddfellows or something. I'll see what I can dig up if anything.

What is in the top arm and center of the cross? I can see a flower on the right, a bee on the bottom and a bug or fly of some type on the left. Is that correct? This may help ID it. The style of the cross is more in line with a German Iron cross versus an English Victoria cross. I'm thinking maybe an immigrant of English/German Ancestry maybe since it has both of those elements on it. I believe it dates from 1870's to the 1920's.

Think Diggumup is right.

But... just in case wash your hands, it may have come from some fat oma bellydancer.

I think they are flowers or suns

I edited the OPs picture to, hopefully, better show the cross. I see a dragonfly on the left, a bee on the bottom, an anchor on the right, ? on top and 3 lions reposing or laying in the middle.

It ain't from the Royal Order of Raccoons.
I just phoned Ed Norton and he confirmed it.

All I really want to know is if is worth anything really

Got any local fraternal lodges you can show it around to? Masons, BPOE, etc.?

Knights Templar? 😂 j/k.

After looking at the close ups of the cross, I'm gonna say it has no German connection. The 3 Lions in the middle are the English Royal arms. Also the OP lives in England where it was found. Wish we knew what was in the top arm of the cross. It's an interesting piece. I don't see any typical Freemasonry symbols on it. I still have no clue what organization it relates to.

the 3 lions in the center are a known part of the british royal symbols might be from a knighted person -- a vest of sorts from the order of stars and garters or such -the stars are very much like the british ones used by the order
