I got mad and found a few!!!

I went to a dump and took a beating from the rocks fall down under a tree roots holding it up!! I found a few old bottles from 1870 and 1880 . The odd cylinder bottle with embossment number 12 on it anyone got a clue

All it has embossed circle with the number and 12 in the circle it called paragon on the bottum!!! any ideas?/

I can't say that I am a bottle collector but after being on this site I find myself eyeballing bottles now to see if they are old. Those are nice.

Nice bottles! I agree, I think that one bottle contained food - relish or such. You can research old bottles on this site. http://www.sha.org/bottle/index.htm Follow the instructions on that site and you'll probably be able to ID your bottles and also date them. It's a very detailed website. Next time you find old bottles like those, send me a PM - I'll take them anytime!!!!
