I didn't find to much today. The usual bits of scrap metal and a crusty penny. My feet wear wet and cold but I was determined to find something good . So I went to a different field area I haven't hit much. The first signal I popped out a 1901 barber quarter. I found what I thought was a silver buckle. When I got home and cleaned it I could see its plated. I also found a button missing the shank. Its back marked London double quality. Happy hunting everyone!! 15510459247711391574855.jpg1551046002545-947861301.jpg

Very nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Yes it was a pleasant surprise I don't find many silver quarters! When I do find silver its usually a dime.

Hey John, congrats on some cool stuff, especially that awesome, old Barber quarter! That design is so well designed, like a lot of other older coins...and unlike the stamped out crap we get today. Back when men were men and they took great pride in their work. Great post John, thx for sharing, Ddf.

Congrats on the big Silver. You had a very good day.

Keep swinging one is bound to show up eventually!!!

Thank you everyone!!
