Had a bit of time so I thought I'd wander the mansion grounds to see if the rains helped. Can't tell much by the finds, but the rain didn't help much.

The mansion is still in relic mode. That's ok though. You see, some of these finds rang up around 80-86 and they weren't all that deep. It means that there are still signals in that ground that I just haven't managed to run a coil over yet. But, BOY! Are they ever getting further and further between! (I need a new mansion. )

Here's the take:







Did manage a 55-d nickel and what looks like a flower button.



For those who saw the winged item and thought oh how cute! He found a toy airplane!



Those who recognize this evil little thing knows that this is a hunting arrow tip. Those "wings" are RAZORS!!

That's why I mention to any who show their kids digging without gloves, that it is VERY dangerous out there!!
Fortunately, the good Lord accompanies me on my "walks". This could have been a VERY different day for me if he hadn't been watching over me.

I do too. But, I see vids and pics on here of people hunting without them. Bad idea! Especially for kids. Too easy to scoop out a handful of dirt and find something very sharp and unpleasant stuck in ones' hand. This razor bladed arrow tip could just as easily had sliced my hand to shreds and I wouldn't even had realized it right away. Razors cut very efficiently!

The little lizard came along a few posts ago. I found him and when I saw the pics with him in them, well, he just seemed so right. Now, he's sort of an unofficial deputy of Chug & Red's Sheriff Gumby. So, he'll probably be a sort of trademark in my pics for a while.

I haven't figured a name for the little lizard yet, but, I do kind of like him hanging 'round in my pics.

Looks like I had a lot closer call then even I realized!!



Wear gloves people! ESPECIALLY, the kids. Start them out right AND safe!
