Found these....I'm not sure if you'd call them "Beads", but they do have holes through'em. I added the pottery shards just cuz they're pretty :) and that's a Black Obsidian nodule with awesome silver sheen! RSCN3206.webp

DSC09704.webpthese are all drilled miss kat, the brown one in the middle is a fossil but was found on a site. I have a bunch of the tiny little round shell beads that I will dig out and post

Very nice finds and they sure look like beads to me . The 3rd one from the left looks like antler ,all the holes look good. Would love to see some more pics of both sides. Kat you find some of the best things:hello2::hello2::hello2:

Hello curious kat, Nice beads and yes the 3rd one from left is antler. Do you have any context on them? buried?
Your black obsidian nodule IS AWESOME !!! The edges appear smooth which indicates? maybe that the original owner spent a fair amount of time rubbing it/ with it. Very personal piece. cool

Those beads are a super find. Hardly anything drilled around here that I have found.

Thanks guys! Your beads & fossil are Great Outlaw! Yes, post the others please :) Thanks Monsterrack...sure will take closer pic's of both sides for you...oh guys..that third one from the left...it's pottery bead, not antler..sorry:( Yelnif..found them on the ground...thanks to the weather! And the Obsidian nodule sorry again...don't really think it was someone's, just comes like that...I found some more super nice green ones today will post in the rock section today. And Rock, can't forget about you :)...no beads out your way much? I'll bet there are, just have yet to be found! Thanks everyone!!!

I am really liking that pottery Kat. You all have found some very neat things. I also find very few beads though some locals have found many. Nothing will last long on the surface here as it all washes away or is buried in 10 feet of silt. Some of the best civil war camps are three feet deep now and that was only 150 years ago. Imagine 500+ years. To be so lucky to live in an arid place!!

Super nice pottery !!!!
