Yesterday I met up with a friend in Rhode Island. My buddy was able to line up a small farm field that the original meeting house stood on In the 18th century. With the first few swings up popped the 1837 bust half dime I was in total aw I never thought I would find a second.not to long after I moved out to a small grove of scrubby pine trees and there I retrieved the two coppers. One I know is an 1803 large cent ,but soon after coming out of the ground the detail just absolutely deteriorated. The second copper the only remaining detail is a T which also leads me to believe its a large cent. The ground at this site is not kind to coppers.then soon after I found the coppers up pops the copper disk which I think is an early bridal rosette. Any ideas on that one?. Then finally I found the pat 1879 buckle. All in all it was a good day. Thanks for looking- Justin
