I hate tree roots

Well got to hunt one of the old houses, that are being used as antuiqe stores today. lots of old oak trees and lots of deep targets but man those roots are driving me nuts,hunted for about 3 hoursfound 1 silver rosie 3 wheats oldest 1952 clad a baby spoon by gerber silver plate looks like baby huey eat from it really bent up but I ll be going back. trying to be neat the lawns are really taken care of. before I left looked over the place Idid a good job of covering up my holes dont think the owners could see where I was digging now need to kill all those roots mabe Mounty had a good idea about the back hole, ha ha

Tree roots are a challenge aren't they? The dry wall saw is a great tool to aid in their removal. That Gerber baby spoon that you mentioned probably had the handle bent into a loop. Little fingers can hold that easier then a straight handled spoon. They came bent from the factory. Good luck with your future hunts. It sounds like you have found a promising place. Two Dogs
