"I have $5.50 in half dollars, but they are dirty, kind of gross!"

I pull up to the drive thru of a Bank of America and asked for half dollars. The teller told me she had $5.50 in halves but they are dirty and gross looking. I told her I would take them and what ever the other tellers had. Another teller had one CWR roll.

$10 CWR- skunk

$5.50 loose(many with black rims)

I love it when a teller says that -- never fails to produce silver!
I had one teller tell me that they never see silver and that there is none out there, then the teller next to him pulled out a green 1967 that was "yucky." The tarnish was so thick she read it as a 1962. That would be a good trick -- pulling a 1962 Kennedy half!

had one tell me they look like they been in a fire or sumpin (very heavily tarnished)-- $5 worth produced 8 -40% and 1 90% --one dud * 9 out of 10- silvers -- yah gimme dat "dirty" money sweetheart at the time 40% haves were selling at $3.50 each and the 90 was worth $15 -- $50 in silver and 50 cents not silver -- $45.50 profiet after I put back my starter $5
