In my more recent readings, if interpreted correctly, ive found out that most metals tarnish/erode over time(yes i know im behind the times
). That explains the orange/red chalks and colorings over/throughout most of the rocks i look at. So, if this rock here (see below) doesnt have any tarnish on the nugget metal, and the metal doesnt bleed through the rock, it may be a valuable metal? Perhaps in the platinum group of metals? It is also magnet and not too soft, but i dont have very much experience to tell you the difference.
