I haven't posted in a very very long time. I have had nothing interesting to post about. I've had better luck in the reject trays of coinstar machines. Finding the forgotten stray silver dime. But i have been lurking trying to live vicariously through others... It looks like success is more a tease at this point. I just found an 1853 half that I should be thrilled with. Can anybody guess the reason I had to take a seat? LOL it hurts a lot

Assuming that you keep your finds rather than sell them, a hole IMO is part of its story. It would not diminish my enjoyment of the coin or the memory of its discovery.
