From Ohio and owner of Treasure Hunter Supply, and let me tell you if you ever get the chance to meet and hunt with this great guy don't miss the opportunity. He brought along the new Secon uwex 725K (made in Germany) . I didn't really run it long enough to give it a fair assessment but I will say first impressions with the machine were awesome. I hunted waist deep water for only around an hour.

I loved the pin point on the machine along with the turn on and go mode, had led lights in addition to tone ID , looking forward to doing some testing on it, we will give it a good workout LOL......

I loved hunting that beach years ago and the sand is still as fine and white now as it used to be. Drop a coin or gold ring on that sand it it is covered right away. In the water the sand seems packed but it isn't, just not muddy like at some northern sites.

Siesta Key is one of my favorite beaches, so pretty. You must have found something or things for this machine to have impressed you. Pray tell!

The sand on Siesta Key reminded me of confectioners sugar.... ( powerded sugar).

Very nice area.

LOL There is so many guys hunting this if you don't find it before it hit the sand in or out of the water it's gone !!!!!!

My wife loves that beach (we were there once, without a detector) but I could have done without it, the fine sand got between the elastic on my suit and my skin and irritated the heck out of me.

On the bright side a fine young french woman in a thong bikini cut in front of me heading to the shower, which I did not mind at all. forgot all about the irritating sand.... :tongue3:

Hey Guys,

I've hunted this beach and I love it. Found a beautiful lunker 18k gold earing there and a couple silver. Heard rumor of a huge nugget ring being lost their by the lifeguards. Beautiful beach, beautiful scenery and yes the dry sand is a beach! Kingpulltab live not far from there.
