I just spent 25-cents to get $$$. Here's how I did it (again)

Once again, I turned a quarter into $$$ by finding a coin plaque. I found this California redwood plaque at recycling place. It's cracked down the middle but all the cash is there. The cashier charged me a quarter which made sense to me. Not sure, but it looks like approx $6 to me.

Ok now wait a minute...
I have been collecting bicentennial memorabilia for 30 years now...(to this day, I don't know why)...
I have over a thousand pieces, from the common plates, to the rare collectibles, to the unique folk art that you wouldn't believe what people would put 1776-1976 on....
Anyways, I have never seen this before...
No doubt a high school project, too bad the clock is beat up....

If I saw that in a shop, in great condition....
I wouldn't hesitate to spend $50 on it....more if my wife wasn't with me.
