I know it's not one of you...

I never been made fun while coin roll hunting....that changed today. It was extremely busy in the bank

I ask for halves....and the guy behind me starts running his mouth. "Do they even make those anymore?" (giggles with another guy standing right next to him) So I ignore him...comes back "Hey, Ive got a whole stack of Franklins, but it'll cost ya." haha with an obnoxious laugh to match his voice.

Yeah, good one pal, tell customers, tellers, shoot tell the whole crowded bank what Im doing why dont ya. Some people I tell you. So I took my $400 bag of dimes and in one swoop smacked him in the face with them. What a fun Tuesday this was after my wife paid the bail. Haha just kidding on that part but this guy was seriously on my last nerve in the 11 words he spoke to me.

I know we are gentleman here, so Im fairly certain it wasnt any of you. :icon_thumright:

What a way to refrain from a come-back. Should have looked him square in the eyes and said you would just wait until his wife rolled those Franklins and deposited them in the bank and you would pick them up later. :tongue3:

When she paid the bail, how long did it take the jail clerk to figure out how to count it? Did they lay it all out in stacks of two? Did they complain that there is no place for those in the drawer? Or, did they say to her: "these are really rare!"

Sounds like you found a great dump bank. Make sure you wait in line just for him. Bring him about 5k worth of "dumps". Also, be sure you bring a couple of "prop" franklins that are convenient "extras" that you show him, but decide you will keep just 2 as "souvenirs". :laughing7:

There was really only one good comeback that would have shut that person up real fast, but unfortunately it would have created another CRHer in your area.

After he said his statement, you could have turned around, looking very serious (and not mad) and said, "laugh if you want, but last year I pulled in over $40,000 (or some other made up figure) worth of free silver from doing this. That's probably more than you made at your job last year?". The second sentence is optional, in that it might have created a violent response from the other person.

Lol the guys at work laugh all the time , i get the last laugh when i find silver in a bank right next door. Note it is a quiet laugh because i dont say sh$t. Many of the guys stopped laughin recently when gold 2x and silver 3x from when i warned them what was comin.
