i like the tv show diggers!

ive been detecting for over 13 years now and im glad that there are shows about metal detecting.I know the savvage family is realy fake atleast in diggers they find the stuff like i do .I admit when i found my first colony coin i didnt crash through a dog house but i did have a smile.I metal detect alone and now i say to my self lets see that roundness in the hole! and when i find gold or big silver ,i yell boom baby! and watch the birds fly from the trees!

Maybe it's just me, but I find those shows boring. I'd rather be out there myself digging up pull tabs

Think about it though guys, How long would a show last if they followed around the normal detectorist for 30 minutes out of a week.Watching him dig pulltabs and random worthless junk for 25 minutes and the show ender would be a 1998 penny thats so corroded you cant even see the date on it.For entertainment purposes,The show is fun to watch,They do at least give a good bit of history on some of the items they find,whether the finds are staged or not. Its fun for what it is i think.But thats just my humble opinion.
