Hello,
I've just recently joined TN but have been picking up "rocks" since I was a kid when I found my first point in a field behind my grandmother's house in Georgia. I live in Virginia and have several favorite places to hunt which almost always produce. Most of the artifacts however are broken or in rough shape due to rolling around in the river's surf. I've numerous examples of the first pic which I believe is a core left from knocking off flakes?

Nice finds, great insitus. I think I see a core in the last pic, my pics never load in order either. Welcome to the site, and thanks for the view.

Welcome to tnet. Glad you joined we never get tired of looking at artifacts. You got some good ones in the pics.

Looks like stuff I find, in fact I think I recognize that spot! I find lots of crude quartzite blades, and plenty of broken points

Welcome to artifacts. I this you guess on the first one is probably correct. You are getting a lot of material so it makes sense there will be some good ones in there. I hunted Saturday and all I got was brokes. :hello:
