I need Help dating and valuing 4 anchors and a cannon

Hello guys!!

When we were kids my dad and my siblings liked scuba diving and we found a few reckages with anchors and some other antiques. We pulled them out and treated them to stop the corrosion (this was 20 years ago). Sadly my dad passed away and he asked us to have an auction as an inheritance. We are still not sure if we want to sell but we’d love to know at least how old these artifacts are. They are HUGE, I’m posting pictures and measurements to help you guys identify them, the only thing I don’t have is their weight, but they’re quiete heavy.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Pablosalaza! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

The Chain in the photo called entrada is from the period of not before 1812 ( Stud link chain) " See ARS Shipwreck Projects Dominican Republic Vol 1 Robert H Pritchett III & William K Seliger "2010" page 117

Iron stocks were not used until the 1770's [age 115

In 1813 a clark named Pering at the Plymouth yard put the curved arm into place. Page 115

Around 1775 the flukes or palms were begining to be cast in one piece with the arms, page 115

The cannon i would need more info, hope this helps

Welcome aboard T-Net from Northern Virginia Now I have a lot of experience weighing anchor and dropping anchor but I got nothing for you when it comes to dating anchors. As for dating I like long walks on the beach, puppies and warm summer rain
