Some are natural. Water wear on some though. At least from what I can see. You know Im no expert though. Thanks at least somebody is out hunting.

hey painterx,it could be a fluke but i seem to find alot of points round rocks made by mother nature that look like tools.i kinda think they would gather them up.some of yours are flaked the one with the red paint looking stuff on it looks like the mothman who appears when something bad is going to happen,per modern legend.hope its not the case.

Sup painter? I see 2 pieces that are at least debitage. I think they are more than that, from what I can see. I see another that looks like it has some scribing on it. That one could be my imagination. Nice looking regardless.

Thanks guys the three I've got figured all have those marks scribed and look to be antler here is a dead match pic of the inside

Tons of mineralisation on some of those.. I see that from a few springs down this way.
Here is a very old antler piece for comparison.
I'm seeing a pattern scribed on that piece whatever it is.

weird stuff! looks like bone and doesn't look like bone lol. but those marks! to much of a repeating pattern to be natural or butchering marks. IMO

My buddy found a bone in the Uhwarrie Mtns of NC. He just thought it was a regular bone. Well, he takes some of the artifacts he finds to a lapidary art store in Southport, NC at the coast (Oak Island). Anyways, the material expert there determined that it was dinosaur bone and it had strange markings on it too, like this one does. The store wanted to buy it from him so he ended up selling it for $80. He also found an arrowhead too, that he didn't know the material. The material expert determined that he had a bone arrowhead and he ended up selling that for $250. IMO, I believe you found a piece of a bone tool with scribing on it too. That is a wild, nice find!
