Hi all , Didn,t have much luck this week finding gold and we had abit of rain this week . Went to a couple of opp shops and spent my time going threw bucket and jars of button. Managed a Colony of Victoria 1880 postmans button. Clearly the best condition button over 120 year old i ever found. Did a Google search and got a pic of 1880's postmans uniform from a 1933 wills ciggy card

Cool button TP! HH, Mike

Cool button! digging though junk is always a good plan 2 if you can't get out with your detector.

For some reason I just can't picture you rummaging through glass jars of buttons, chatting with little old ladies.
Well maybe with a couple of Fosters in you...
Kidding, I look anywhere for anything, anytime.

Nice !! I have been buying buttons recently at flea markets too. Watch out, they are addicting!
